Happy Friday friends! I hope everyone had a great week! Last month I won first place in the photography competition at The Big E!! For those of you that are not familiar with the Big E, it is one of the largest fairs in New England. It is located in Springfield, Massachusetts and held every September. The Big E is one of the largest agricultural events in the northeast with entertainment, unique foods, livestock and more. If you have never been it is definitely a must! This was my third year entering the photography competition. There are many different categories you can enter in. I entered in the Adult-Non-Instructors Color Still Life Division. When entering the competition your photo(s) have to get accepted first. I was elated that my picture was accepted and I could continue in the process. Fast forward to September, after waiting for the judging to be over, I’m proud to have won first place and my first blue ribbon at the Big E!! I could not have been more excited! It has been a goal of mine to win first place at the Big E. I finally accomplished my goal! I can’t thank all my family, friends, fellow foodies and bloggers enough for your support! It means a lot.
