Greek Island Margarita

Happy Friday foodie friends! I hope everyone had a wonderful week. This past week on Instagram, for those of you who follow me, I mentioned in stories that I would like to create some summer drinks. Here it is, my first summer drink! For those of you that know me sangrias are my favorite summer drink. I decided to make this delicious Greek Island Margarita to change things up a bit. Let’s pretend we are in Greece, on the island of Santorini watching the most beautiful sunset sipping on our Greek Island Margarita. For now, let’s enjoy this margarita outside soaking up the sun! Stay tuned I have a fun summer inspired recipe I will be sharing on Wednesday as well as some recipes for Memorial Day weekend soon!

Greek Island Margarita

Serves: 2

Ingredients

1 1/2 ounces tequila

1 ounce Blue Curacao

1 lime, cut in half

Dash of Jose Cuervo Golden Margarita (feel free to use any type of margarita mix of your choice)

Ice

Instructions

In a margarita glass, add tequila, blue curaçao and squeeze half of lime into an ice-filled shaker. Lastly, add dash of Jose Cuervo Golden Margarita, If you don’t have a shaker you can prepare margarita in a regular glass. Serve with a slice of lime on the rim of the glass, if you want to be fancy 😉 Enjoy!
