Spicy Summer Paloma

Happy Thursday foodie friends! I hope everyone is enjoying their summer so far. Today on my blog, I am featuring a nice refreshing summer drink. My Spicy Summer Paloma is the perfect drink to cool off with during those hot summer days. If you are a fan of palomas then this drink is for you! Even if you never had a Paloma before and always wanted to try it, this is the recipe for you too! As the title of this Paloma suggests, it is made spicy, but if you do not like spicy drinks, then you can omit the jalapeño. I hope you enjoy this refreshing Spicy Summer Paloma! Cheers everyone!

Spicy Summer Paloma

Serves: 2

2 grapefruits, halved and juiced

2 jalapeños, sliced thinly

1 lime, halved and juiced (if you want to get another one for garnish feel fee)

1 can of your favorite plain seltzer

2 ounces of your favorite tequila (I used Casamigos)

1/4 ounce of agave or simple syrup

If you have a cocktail shaker add grapefruit juice, juice of lime, jalapeños and agave or simple syrup. If you do not have a cocktail shaker you can add all the ingredients in large glass or small pitcher. After all the ingredients are stirred or shaken very well, pour in your favorite cocktail glasses and add seltzer on top. You can add salt or sugar to the rim of your cocktail glasses if you like. Garnish with lime wedge. Enjoy!
