Spicy Summer Paloma

There’s something about a Spicy Summer Paloma that instantly feels like warm weather in a glass—bright, refreshing, and just the right amount of bold. It’s the kind of cocktail that’s made for sunny afternoons, relaxed evenings, and everything in between.

Fresh citrus brings that signature crisp, zesty flavor, while slices of jalapeño add a subtle heat that lingers just enough to keep things interesting. Balanced with light, bubbly refreshment, it’s a drink that feels both vibrant and incredibly easy to sip.

This is the kind of cocktail you’ll want to serve when you’re hosting friends, setting up an outdoor gathering, or simply treating yourself to something a little elevated. Bright, refreshing, and with a hint of heat—it’s summer entertaining at its best.

Now that you can see how bright, refreshing, and perfectly balanced this cocktail is, it’s time to mix one up yourself. With just a few simple ingredients and minimal prep, it comes together effortlessly—perfect for entertaining or a relaxed summer evening.

Serves: 2

Ingredients

2 grapefruits, halved and juiced

2 jalapeños, sliced thinly

Ice

1 lime, halved and juiced (if you want to get another one for garnish feel fee)

1 can of your favorite plain seltzer

2 ounces of your favorite tequila (I used Casamigos)

1/4 ounce of agave or simple syrup

Directions

If you have a cocktail shaker add grapefruit juice, juice of lime, jalapeños and agave or simple syrup. If you do not have a cocktail shaker you can add all the ingredients in large glass or small pitcher. After all the ingredients are stirred or shaken very well, pour in your favorite cocktail glasses and add seltzer on top. You can add salt or sugar to the rim of your cocktail glasses if you like. Garnish with lime wedge. Enjoy!
