Happy Friday everyone! I’m kicking off the month of June with a summer drink. I wanted to share Lisa’s Triple Citrus Margarita this week. During memorial day weekend, my friend Lisa was making margarita’s for me, my husband and her husband. After tasting her delicious margarita I asked her what was in it. She told me all the ingredients she added and I couldn’t believe there wasn’t a margarita mix of some sort. What I loved about this margarita was it tasted very natural. The combination of the lemons, oranges and limes were so refreshing! You don’t need fancy pre-made margarita mixes to make the best drink. All you need is simple and natural ingredients to make the best margarita. If you are looking for a tasty and refreshing drink to make this summer, then look no further!

Lisa’s Triple Citrus Margarita

1 lime, juiced
1 lemon, juiced
4-6 ounces tequila
Ice
2-4 teaspoons agave ( a simple syrup works or even triple sec)
Directions
Squeeze juice of orange, lime and lemon into a bowl and set aside. Place ice in a cocktail shaker or regular glass if you do not have a shaker. Add bowl of freshly squeezed juices to cocktail shaker or glass. Add agave and tequila and shake very well or stir. Once margarita is mixed very well, pour drink in a margarita glass or your favorite cocktail glass. Garnish with sliced lemon, lime and oranges if you’d like. Enjoy!
