There’s something about a warm, golden dessert fresh from the oven that instantly makes everything feel a little more comforting. Crisp on the outside, soft and sweet on the inside, and finished with a light dusting of powdered sugar and a drizzle of something warm and silky—this is the kind of treat that feels both nostalgic and just a little indulgent.
These little pastry bundles are everything you want in a simple dessert: flaky, perfectly crisp edges wrapped around a rich, spiced filling that melts into every bite. The finishing touch of warm caramel brings it all together, adding just the right amount of sweetness without overpowering the delicate layers.
They’re easy enough to make on a cozy night in, but also impressive enough to serve when you want a dessert that feels thoughtful, seasonal, and just a little special.

Serves: 15
Ingredients
4 cups apples, peeled and diced (approximately 4 apples)
4 tablespoons sugar
4 teaspoons flour
1/2 teaspoon powdered cinnamon
1 teaspoon lemon juice
15 egg roll wrappers
Oil

Directions
In a large bowl combine diced apples, sugar, cinnamon and lemon juice. Stir all the filling ingredients until well combined. Place about a tablespoon of the filling in the center of the egg roll wrapper. Fold in the sides and roll the wrapper tightly. Use a little bit of water on your finger to secure the tip of the wrapper. I baked my apple pie egg rolls in the oven at 350 degrees for about 10 minutes or until egg rolls turn golden. If you wan to fry egg rolls, cook them for about 5 minutes or until golden brown and crispy. Once egg rolls are done cooking place on a plate and dust with powdered sugar and drizzle with caramel sauce. Add any other toppings of your choice. Enjoy!
